Assistant Fire Training Instructor – Emirati Talent
The Assistant Fire Instructor will support the fire training programs and personally conduct some of the training while assisting the Fire Instructor in carrying out the required fire and emergency response trainings.
Principal Accountabilities
Support delivery of both theoretical (classroom) and field-based training in a safe environment.
Demonstrate good class control and safety supervision.
Prepare and follow a creative lesson plan in conjunction with the instructor for each class.
Ensure fire ground and simulators are prepared, operated, and maintained in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
Support Fire Training Instructors in their duties and ensure the safety of training attendees through preparation and maintenance of fire training facilities and equipment.
Carry out daily inspections and maintenance of fire training equipment.
Identify equipment, materials, and resources required; maintain fire training centre records; and prepare reports.
Enforce ENOC HSE rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Motivate, monitor, and maintain discipline among course attendees.
Maintain training records, including attendance, reports, inspections, certifications, and course rosters.
Deliver basic fire training courses.
Guide and supervise technicians in maintaining firefighting equipment.
Experience
Professional and vocational qualifications or equivalent.
Certification in firefighting training or a diploma as a fire trainer or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Computer literacy with good knowledge of MS Office; efficient administration skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
