Position Overview
The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial planning. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional ready to take on leadership responsibilities in a dynamic service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily finance operations including accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue performance
- Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Strengthen internal controls and support financial policy implementation
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions
- Supervise and guide junior finance staff when required
- Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
