We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Bakery & Pastry Chef to support the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods and pastries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment under the guidance of the Head Pastry Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and other pastry components.
Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and pastry workstations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation.
Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is a plus.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and work early morning or flexible shifts.
