Position: Central Asia and Eastern Europe Growth Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead growth and customer acquisition strategies for the Central Asia and Eastern Europe corridors.
- Build trust-based relationships with diaspora communities through online and in-person engagement.
- Initiate, negotiate, and execute partnerships with community associations, local banks, and fintech players.
- Manage offline and online advertising campaigns, including paid marketing and creative agencies.
- Source and lead community ambassadors and influencers to drive brand awareness.
- Conduct regular customer research to identify pain points and optimize user experience.
- Collaborate with Product, Ops, and Engineering teams to improve regional operations.
- Work closely with the Country Manager to define growth plans, budgets, and CAC targets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in high-growth environments such as startups, fintech, or marketing.
- Deep knowledge of and networks within Central Asia diaspora communities globally.
- Strong background in business development, sales, or analytical marketing.
- Proven experience managing paid marketing activities.
- Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken) is required.
- Ability to travel to major corridors to connect with users and understand market needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for working with migrant communities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing contacts with Central Asian influencers and celebrities.
- Established relationships with local banks in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia, or Armenia.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-oriented startup environment.
