Position: Army Aviation Quality Control Specialist (UH-60 M / AH-64 E) PMO- Saudi, Arabia
The (US Army) Aviation Quality Control Specialist (PMO Level) AH-64 E / UH-60 M contributes input towards the development and implementation of a quality control, ground safety, and environmental program to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret or Confidential Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility and to obtain a US Govt Secret or Confidential Clearance.
Valid US Passport is Required.
Performs oversight and guidance to contractor personnel performing maintenance support actions for the RSLFAC.
Monitors daily site-deployed contractor personnel to ensure compliance with customer ground and flight operating procedures.
Assists contract personnel and approved government personnel in resolving problems.
Provides guidance to lower-level technicians regarding established procedures according to directives, quality procedures, work standards, and operational policies.
Inspects and verifies proper completion and documentation of quality discrepancies.
Must be able to lead small groups independently and provide oversight updates to the program and government leadership.
Performs other qualified duties as required.
Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance and operations experience on the UH-60M / AH-64E aircraft, with at least three (3) years in a QA/QC position.
Prefer completion of the US Army’s 15-series career management field Advanced Leadership Course, AMOC, OR possess a Valid FAA A&P Certificate.
Experience with AS9100 QMS Aerospace Standard quality program implementation and management is desired.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Broad knowledge of aircraft maintenance, quality control techniques, FAA regulations, and US Army technical publications.
Valid US Passport is required for travel to Saudi Arabia.
Must be able to pass Saudi (Igama) Visa requirements.
US Govt Confidential Clearance is required.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and personnel management skills.
Work locations include Riyadh, Dammam, KKMC, Tabuk, and Khamis in Saudi Arabia.
Clearance Requirements :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret or Confidential Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization and to obtain security clearance.
Additional and Physical Requirements :
Ability to prioritize workload and maintain schedules.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
Potential exposure to extreme noise, fumes, airborne particles, electrical hazards, moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
May be required to travel based on operational needs.
