Job Summary:
As an Electrical Technician in our workshop located in the UAE market, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in vehicles. Your expertise in automotive electrical systems will contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of our automotive repair services.
Key Responsibilities:
Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles.
Diagnose and repair electrical components such as wiring, lighting, sensors, and control modules.
Test vehicle batteries for performance and replace them when necessary.
Ensure proper disposal of old batteries in accordance with environmental regulations.
Inspect and repair alternators, starters, and other components of the charging system.
Test and replace faulty components to ensure proper functioning.
Diagnose and repair issues with vehicle lighting systems, including headlights, taillights, and interior lighting.
Replace bulbs, fuses, and defective wiring as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair ignition systems, including spark plugs, ignition coils, and ignition control modules.
Ensure proper timing and functioning of the ignition system.
Diagnose and repair issues with electronic systems, including power windows, power locks, and entertainment systems.
Address malfunctions in vehicle communication networks.
Inspect and repair safety-related electrical systems, such as airbags and antilock braking systems (ABS).
Ensure proper functioning of safety features for vehicle occupants.
Coordinate with other technicians, such as mechanics and bodyshop specialists, to address comprehensive vehicle repair needs.
Communicate effectively to share diagnostic findings and repair recommendations.
Interact with customers to understand and address their concerns regarding electrical issues.
Provide clear explanations of required repairs and associated costs.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all electrical diagnostics and repairs.
Complete electronic and paper-based service reports in a timely manner.
Stay informed about advancements in automotive electrical systems and emerging technologies.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certification or relevant training in automotive electrical systems.
Proven experience as an Electrician in an automotive workshop, preferably in the UAE market.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical components and systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with workshop safety standards and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
