Job Scope:

Following all Patchi Café policies and procedures, the Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance of assigned Patchi Café Outlets. This includes ensuring consistency in customer experience, delivering high-quality Food & Beverage service, and maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all assigned Outlets, regularly scheduling visits, and report directly to the F&B Country Manager.

Ensure proper control measures are in place.

Review and analyze monthly results, highlight problem areas, and take appropriate action to rectify poor performances in coordination with the F&B Country Manager.

Ensure to be fully aware of current trends in the industry, share suggestions to the F&B Country Manager for the benefit of the company

Prepare/review and ratify all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner

Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to health, safety, and labor requirements of Patchi Café restaurants, employees, and guests

Monitor quality control procedures and evaluate food products to ensure that quality standards are consistently attained

Act as a replacement when the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager are unavailable

Oversee the full procurement cycle for the Front-of-House operations, including purchasing, receiving, and storing in coordination with the F&B Country Manager.

Ensure that stock levels are well determined as per the set PAR levels and operational requirements

Implement cost control measures by consistently reviewing waste sheets, inventory reports, and purchase/requisition orders

Analyze variances in inventory, identify cost-saving opportunities, and take proactive steps to mitigate wastage and reduce operational expenses

Ensure that all employees are well-supervised, oriented, and motivated to deliver exceptional performance

Set clear expectations for sales targets, service standards, facility appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness, and monitor their execution, reporting progress and issues to the F&B Country Manager

Collaborate with the HR Department and line management positions to effectively hire, train, supervise, promote, and if necessary, terminate staff within the assigned Outlets

Participate actively in the recruitment process to ensure that the most qualified individuals are selected for vacancies

Ensure that all guest complaints and concerns are addressed promptly, courteously, and effectively as per Patchi Café’s standards

Ensure that all daily administrative tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner

Conduct regular briefings, debriefings, and other meetings as necessary to foster effective communication among the Front-of-House staff as per Patchi Café’s standards
