Position: Architectural Foreman, Finishing | alfanar precast
Overseeing and coordinating the final stages of construction so that the villa presents its final look and functionality. Supervising all interior and exterior finishing activities—plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, carpentry, and fixture installation—to ensure work meets design specifications, quality standards, and remains on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all on‑site finishing work, coordinating plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, carpentry, and fixture installation.
- Supervise and manage trades teams, ensuring efficient, high‑standard, and timely work.
- Coordinate with other project teams to sequence finishing work correctly and prevent conflicts with other activities.
- Ensure finishing tasks align with architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of finishing materials, ensuring specifications and availability.
- Monitor material usage to minimize waste and maintain sufficient stock levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials on site.
- Develop and manage the finishing work schedule to guarantee on‑time completion.
- Communicate with the project manager and teams to resolve delays or obstacles.
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Regularly update the project manager and team on progress and challenges.
- Report issues such as delays, material shortages, or quality concerns, suggesting solutions.
- Keep accurate records of work, workforce hours, and material usage.
- Identify and resolve quality or installation issues in finishing works.
- Provide solutions for site‑specific challenges to maintain the project schedule.
- Ensure high‑quality finishing and assist with final inspections before client handover.
- Manage snagging and address any punch list items before project completion.
- Train and develop the finishing team, providing leadership, coaching, and direction.
- Delegate tasks fairly to maintain morale and motivation among subordinates.
- Perform planned activities to meet operational and delivery targets.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Resolve operational problems and elevate complex issues as needed.
- Develop quality control processes and ensure they meet specifications.
- Coordinate well‑defined systems, policies, procedures, and pursue automation opportunities.
- Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.
Qualifications
Academic:
Diploma or degree in any relevant field.
Experience:
5 to 10 years in construction finishing, 10 to 15 years in technical or functional roles.
Technical / Functional
Competencies:
Materials/Parts Knowledge, Plans and Drawings, Work Order Management, Hand/Power Tool Proficiency.
