A consulting engineering company in Jeddah is seeking an Architectural Engineer to work full time. The candidate should have strong experience in engineering consulting office operations, architectural design, permits and licenses, supervision, coordination with government authorities, client handling, and supporting qualification, classification, and office operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparing and reviewing architectural designs, drawings, and detailed execution drawings; following up on building permits, renovation permits, demolition permits, fencing permits, additions, modifications, and occupancy certificates; submitting and following up on applications through Balady platform and other government platforms; handling comments from the municipality and related authorities; coordinating with other engineering disciplines; following up on site supervision and site works; reviewing surveying and existing architectural drawings; preparing existing condition drawings and As-Built drawings; meeting clients; preparing technical proposals and scopes of work; supporting the qualification and classification of the engineering office/company; coordinating with government authorities; and contributing to organizing the internal workflow of the consulting office.
Experience in government projects is preferred, including requirements, approvals, official correspondence, technical proposals, supervision, reports, technical payment certificates, and coordination with project owners and consulting entities.
