Role Description This full-time Architectural Drafter role is an on-site position based in Jeddah. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, based on design concepts and project specifications. Responsibilities include translating architectural designs into precise technical drawings, updating plans to reflect design changes, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes and standards. The role involves using CAD and related drafting software, organizing drawing sets for review and approval, and supporting the design team in planning and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed plans and documentation.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles, including building codes, regulations, and basic structural and design concepts.
- Proficiency in technical Drawing using CAD or similar drafting software, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a design and build or construction environment is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple drawing sets and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and innovative building technologies is an advantage.
