Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Jeddah. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed designs and drawings, and coordinating with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include conducting site visits, assessing project requirements, ensuring design compliance with local codes and sustainability standards, and supporting integration of design solutions with other building systems.
The role also involves reviewing construction documents, participating in client meetings, and providing design guidance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and technical detailing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including timeline management, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and resource planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools and workflows, such as integrating design software with project management or BIM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with BIM methodologies.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices relevant to projects in Jeddah.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients.
- Demonstrated experience in design and build or construction projects; professional licensure or eligibility for licensure is an advantage.
