Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design development process, progressing projects from concept stage to Issued for Construction (IFC) and Issued for Tender (IFT). They will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines to meet all engineering, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop architectural designs after concept stage to schematic design (SD) stage through detailed design (DD) to IFC and IFT.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including MEP, structural, electrical, and sustainability teams (GSAS).
Ensure compliance with local municipality requirements for official submissions.
Have a great background in Qatar’s district regulations and guidelines to ensure all designs adhere to zoning and planning rules.
Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and validate design submissions to maintain quality, accuracy, and constructability.
Utilize advanced design software to create high-quality architectural drawings and presentations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
5-10 years of experience in architectural design and project development.
2-3 years of Qatar Local experience is mandatory.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Revit experience is a plus.
Good skills in SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Qatar’s building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
Experience in multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring alignment between architectural, structural, MEP, and sustainability disciplines.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
