Job Title: Android Developer (Arabic Speaker)
Location: Riyadh (On-site)
Notice Period: Immediate to short notice preferred
Job Summary:Employment Type: Full-time / 12 months extendable contract
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer who is fluent in Arabic and English to join our client’s team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing high-quality Android applications, working closely with cross-functional teams, and delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
– Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver new features.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Android development best practices.- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.- Optimize applications for speed, performance, scalability, and security.
– Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
– Ensure applications comply with Google Play Store guidelines and Android standards.
– Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies and development trends.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of professional Android development experience.
– Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
– Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android Jetpack components.
– Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile application architecture patterns (MVVM/MVP).- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
– Familiarity with Firebase services, push notifications, and offline storage.
– Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
– Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store is a plus.Preferred Skills- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
– Knowledge of secure mobile application development practices.
– Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
– Banking or enterprise application development experience is an advantage.
