Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Algorithmic Trader (Algo Trader) to join our trading team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying algorithmic trading strategies across multiple asset classes. The candidate should possess excellent knowledge of AI-driven trading models, quantitative analysis, and trading platforms including Trading Technologies (TT), CQG (CQA/CQG), and cTrader.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance automated trading systems, optimizing execution strategies, and continuously improving trading performance using artificial intelligence and quantitative techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement profitable algorithmic trading strategies.
- Build, test, and optimize automated trading systems for live market execution.
- Develop AI and machine learning models for market prediction and signal generation.
- Create low-latency execution algorithms to improve order execution quality.
- Monitor live trading systems and ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Analyze market microstructure, liquidity, volatility, and trading opportunities.
- Perform quantitative research using historical and real-time market data.
- Backtest strategies using robust statistical methodologies.
- Optimize trading algorithms based on performance metrics.
- Integrate trading algorithms with various APIs and execution platforms.
- Manage trading risk through automated risk management systems.
- Maintain and improve existing algorithmic trading infrastructure.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, and traders to enhance trading strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports and strategy evaluations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Algorithmic Trading or Quantitative Trading.
- Strong knowledge of algorithmic trading architecture and automated execution.
- Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning applications in financial markets.
- Experience developing and deploying multi-strategy trading algorithms.
- Excellent understanding of market microstructure and electronic trading.
- Strong programming skills in:
- Python
- C++
- C#
- Java (preferred)
- Experience working with:
- SQL
- APIs
- FIX Protocol
- REST APIs
- WebSocket APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with statistical modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and distributed systems is an advantage.
