In this role graduate will learn how to model and evaluate data‑link (Layer2) protocols. The role provides exposure to networking concepts and simulation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Help design and implement simulation models for Layer2 protocols such as MAC, LLC and routing.
- Collect performance metrics (throughput, latency, error rates) and compile reports.
- Assist with debugging simulation models and updating them based on feedback.
- Participate in team discussions about protocol optimisation and cross‑layer interactions
Education and Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Networking or related field.
- Coursework in data communications and networking.
- Familiarity with Python or C/C++ and network simulation tools (e.g., NS‑3) is a plus.
Key Skills
- Analytical skills to interpret simulation results and identify trends.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn networking protocols and standards.
