Position: Aircraft Mechanic (Workshops)
We are recruiting for an Aircraft Mechanic within Workshops, with experience in Aircraft Wheels and Brakes
, based in Doha, Qatar.
As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing all required work in accordance with approved technical data, Qatar Airways standards and procedures
. You must meet the highest shop practices and safety standards to deliver operational results as set by the unit. You will also be responsible for completing assigned tasks within established procedures and time frames, performing effectively under time constraints and maintaining a high level of technical competency.
Specific responsibilities for the role include :
Completing assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
Operating equipment or tooling related to the work area to meet time objectives.
Interpreting information across a range of activities to ensure continuous operation.
Complying with the company health and safety policy.
Ensuring aircraft component rectifications are completed timely, in accordance with QCAA / EASA PART- requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications About you
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications :
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Trade or Vocational qualification, Degree (e.g., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering.
Minimum 5 years of Aircraft Maintenance experience in Wheels & Brakes, including apprenticeship.
Knowledge of workshop fundamentals and related skills.
Understanding work procedures and operating equipment to maintain satisfactory operation.
Ability to perform most tasks independently within the area of specialty.
Controlling operation of equipment or systems.
Ability to understand written instructions in work-related documents.
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, reading, writing).
