Aircraft Engineer Jobs in Dubai, UAE at Emirates
Carry out aircraft maintenance andservicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safetyprocedures. Ensure that assigned zones/aircraft are maintained asper latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publicationssuch as Aircraft documentation, Technical Notices, Quality Notices,and Engineering Procedures Manual etc. Ensure that personalapprovals/licences are valid and applicable to aircrafttypes.
Ensure all off-aircraft tasks i.e.spares handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled incompliance with company procedures and that the associatedpaperwork is complete to ensure full transparency. Determine iftooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the taskand use specialised tooling where required. Ensure that troubleshooting procedures/tools used for fault rectification are carriedout in a cost effective and efficientmanner.
Carry out component changes asnecessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or as directed byimmediate supervisor. These should be done in accordance with AMM,IPC or other manufacturer/vendor documentation to complete thetask.
Ensure that all activities performed arecarried out in accordance with all safety rules and regulations andin adherence to company procedures, highlighting andeficiencies/requirements (whether for aircraft or hangar use) through the effective use of reporting tools in support of theoverall quality improvement process and actively participate inpropagating and enhancing the Group safety culture. Ensure all worklocations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions aremaintained.
Maintain effective communicationwith Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure aseamless flow of information and to highlight any potentialoperational issues. Ensure that relevant reports are related toservice delays, incidents and accidents are completed in detailincluding the identification of issues that led to the event sothat rectification can be sought through short term maintenanceplanning.
Manage the performance of staff usingperformance review process and system. Ensure SMART goal setting,interim/annual reviews and development plans are in place forassigned staff members in accordance with companyprocedures.
Attend training/recurrent modulesas required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.
Ensure approvals are obtained within 3.5 months of completion  available for deployment anywherewithin the EK operation, including diversionary airfields to assistin recovery process of an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and/or aircraftcomponent manufacturer facilities to act as an EK rep to overseefinal assembly Emirates aircraft, supervise outsource maintenancework and assist in the acceptance/delivery process.
Qualifications&Experience To beconsidered for this role, you must meet the belowrequirements:
Engineering: 10+ Yearsexperience Degree or Honours (12+3 orequivalent) :
B. Engg in Aeronauticalsubjects/Mechanical/Avionics/Electronic/Tech Engineering or Maintenance Engineering Licence.
5+ yearsexperience in Engineering as a certifyingstaff  Key Skills  Engineering
