Your Role

The Aerospace (AOG) Customer Care Specialist is responsible for managing the coordination and communication of airfreight AOG shipments. This role operates on a 24/7 rotational shift, ensuring prompt handling of requests both during and outside regular business hours. The specialist will engage with internal and external customers, providing dedicated support for urgent shipments to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Your Responsibilities

Main point of contact for the customer as well as Kuehne+Nagel other stations on a 24/7 rotational basis.

Handling all day-to-day operational, communication, and customer service related matters and directing them to relevant parties.

Assisting customers as well as Kuehne+Nagel colleagues with their inquiries and ensuring proactive responses & precise communication.

Proactively planning and coordinating aviation shipments (Import and Export, end-to-end responsibility).

Building strong customer relationships and ensuring that customer requirements are met.

Following guidelines and implementing standard operational procedures defined and issued by management.

Constantly reviewing and optimizing aviation process flow and SOP.

Producing monthly, quarterly, and other ad-hoc reports as required by the National management.

Ensuring maintenance of high standards of customer care, i.e., ensuring that the client is served professionally and introducing local SOPs.

Damage reporting/claim reporting.

Timely processing of invoices, in line with internal Finance Controlling regulations.

Ensuring cost accruals are made correctly to increase/improve FSL auto closing.

Reporting to work after hours, on weekends, and holidays for emergencies (AOG) when required.

Capable of working under demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
