Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical / ELV Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for Electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical and ELV system drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
Develop layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics for electrical and ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, and Public Address Systems.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure designs meet project specifications.
Review and revise drawings as per client requirements and consultant feedback.
Maintain up-to-date project documentation and drawing records.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
Assist in quantity take-offs and material specifications based on project needs.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Experience in ELV systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and BMS is preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical and ELV design principles, codes, and standards.
Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
