Job Duties
Under close supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac-specific roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC). Learns basic operations including but not limited to: performing pre/post job equipment inspections, conducting preventative maintenance, and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolds, discharge equipment). Completes required training and demonstrates competency for current and next level roles. Assists in equipment assembly, preparation for installation and service, cleanup, repairs, and setup for subsequent jobs.
Demonstrates safety awareness and environmental responsibility, complying with all safety and environmental regulations. Participates in quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Basic reading, writing, and computer skills, along with the ability to perform simple calculations, are preferred. Skills are gained through on-the-job training and 3-6 months of experience as an Operator Asst I. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
