Job Purpose:

The position is responsible for identifying, designing and implementing continues improvement plans. Works closely with various departments to streamline company current processes, analyze the performance and areas for improvement to enhance organizational performance. The role focuses in leading the transformation initiatives, optimizing operations efficiency, identify the potential opportunities for cost saving and business productivity and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibility:

  1. Evaluate current company processes, systems, procedures and structures to identify areas for improvement and propose the appropriate solutions to fill the performance gaps.
  2. Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste/operating costs and improve operational efficiency.
  3. Facilitate implementation of continuous improvement methodologies such as lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, EFQM, TQM, ISO 9000 etc. to improve productivity and attine desired results.
  4. Track and analyze relevant data, coordinate and evaluate process improvement measures in association with all functions and departments.
  5. Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions across the organization and to address any performance deficiency.
  6. Develop operational excellence strategy and frameworks and implement the associated plans at corporate and business unit level.
  7. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure company progress and identify opportunities to enhanced business performance.
  8. Contributes in defining measures and communicate performance levels against performance targets to ensure business units is aware of its performance versus strategic objectives.
  9. Liaise with all concerned departments to align improvement initiatives and ensure holistic, organization-wide transformation.
  10. Assist in Identifying areas of unsatisfactory performance and work with representatives of the concerned function/department to develop action plans, which will lead to an improvement in performance.
  11. Prepare reports, presentations, and updates to communicate company performance, progress, and future improvement plans.
  12. Ensure various operational excellence programs are implemented as per the plan, evaluate plan and implement excellence standards in processes and practices.
  13. Ensure organization adherence and commitment to the organization processes and policies and institutionalize quality standards.
  14. Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of business planning activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business disciplines, or equivalent.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • 10 years’ experience in utilities sector or in leading organizations.
  • Experience in performance management and process improvement.
  • Professional Certification(s).
  • Certified in KPIs/OKR/ISO 9001/Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
