Role Summary Purpose
To architect, build, and optimize the mission-critical data infrastructure required for ADNOC’s transition to an AI-integrated energy leader, ensuring seamless data flow from upstream IoT sensors to downstream predictive models.
Impact
This role directly enables real-time decarbonization tracking, predictive maintenance for global assets, and ensures all AI-driven operations comply with the 2026 EU AI Act and ESG reporting standards.
Team Structure
Part of the Centralized Data & AI Excellence Hub, working in an agile squad alongside Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Sustainability Officers.
Reports To
Reports to the Head of Data Engineering.
Working Conditions Travel Required
Standard business hours (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM) with on-call rotation for critical pipeline support.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a standard office environment for extended periods.
- Occasional travel to offshore or remote sites requiring standard PPE and safety training.
