About the Job
The objective of this role is to be in charge of the day-to-day activities in regard to accounting and related tasks. The job incumbent ensures accurate and timely submission of information to the (Assistant) Financial Controller, controls and banks all hotel money, ensures proper controls for cash handling, and brings any discrepancies to the attention of the (Assistant) Financial Controller. All work is carried out in accordance with shared services units' accounting and financial controls under the supervision and functional guidance of the Financial Controller, within the policies and procedures outlined in ECOMAN, in line with shared services units and corporate policies and guidelines, and the shared services units' business plan.
About You
- Advanced degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as Finance Coordinator, Payroll Coordinator, General cashier or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices
- Solid knowledge of auditing
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
