The Fit-Out Carpenter is responsible for crafting and installing high-end wooden interiors on luxury yachts. This includes custom woodwork, cabinetry, flooring, and bespoke furnishings, ensuring premium quality and precision in line with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct and install custom woodwork for yacht interiors (panels, cabinetry, flooring).
Work with luxury materials and apply finishes that ensure durability in marine environments.
Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet design specifications.
Ensure precision in measurements and craftsmanship, maintaining high-quality finishes.
Install woodwork elements securely, and conduct ongoing maintenance and adjustments as needed.
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Requirements:
5+ years of carpentry experience, ideally in luxury yacht interiors.
Skilled with woodworking tools and marine-grade materials.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated positions.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
