Job Title: Site Engineer – Smart Home Automation & ELV
Location: Onsite – UAE

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of site work experience in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and Smart Home Automation projects within the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV and smart home automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage site activities related to ELV and Smart Home Automation projects.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure timely execution of projects.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems and smart home automation solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system integration and performance.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for stakeholders.
Review and interpret project drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for material procurement and equipment delivery.
Train and guide site teams and technicians on best practices for installation and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of site experience in the UAE working on ELV and Smart Home Automation projects.
Strong knowledge of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including:
CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control & Biometric System, Structured Cabling & Networking Solutions, Public Address & Audio-Visual Systems, Fire Alarm & BMS (Building Management Systems), Gate Barriers & Parking Management Systems
Expertise in Smart Home Automation solutions, such as:
Lighting Control System, Home Cinema & AV Distribution, HVAC Automation & Climate Control, Smart Security & Alarm Systems, IoT-based Home Automation Solutions, Integration of Voice-Controlled Assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.)
Familiarity with industry standards such as KNX, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, AMX, and similar automation protocols.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.
Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
