Loom Collection is an Australian-owned and managed, fast-growing company with 40+ employees, aiming to expand operations across all GCC countries.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) / Human Resources Officer to join our team at our headquarters in Dubai Investment Park 1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing government online portals, including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, DED, DM, DHA, RTA, and GPSSA, with in-person visits to government offices only when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer legal compliance through government online portals, including MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, DED, DM, DHA, RTA, GPSSA, and others.
Ensure seamless management of all government-related processes for the business in Dubai.
Oversee the processing, renewal, and cancellation of work permits, residency visas, and Emirates IDs via government portals.
Maintain and update employee documents on the company server for both existing employees and new hires.
Monitor expiry dates for visas, labor cards, and insurance to ensure timely renewals.
Prepare and submit regular reports on visa, work permit, insurance, and employee documentation status to senior management.
Assist the HR Manager and Directors in preparing monthly salary spreadsheets.
Manage WPS salary processing via Al Ansari Exchange and RAKBANK.
Support the administration of employee benefits, including gratuity calculations, health insurance, and end-of-service benefits.
Assist in the timely application and renewal of medical insurance for all employees.
Ensure smooth coordination for both existing staff and new hires.
Support Directors in implementing and managing salary increments and remuneration policies.
Assist in coordinating annual leave, sick leave, and daily attendance tracking.
Maintain signed daily attendance schedules for each employee.
Ensure compliance with leave policies, including documentation for sick leave.
Organize annual leave approvals and staff flight bookings as per company procedures.
Assist in the hiring process by:
Posting job advertisements on relevant platforms.
Screening applications received via email or phone.
Scheduling interviews for candidates and department heads.
Conducting initial screening interviews before department head evaluations.
Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws and government regulations.
Manage timely renewals of licenses, permits, and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:-
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a PRO in Dubai or the UAE. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience reporting to Western management and those who are Arabic bilingual.
Knowledge
Familiarity with government online portals such as MOHRE, GDRFA, and experience in processing Work Permits and Visas.
Skills
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Urdu; Arabic (both spoken and written) is highly desirable.
Attention to Detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactive
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues with government departments and authorities.
Organization
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
Other
Must have a valid UAE driving license.
