Adjunct Faculty in Finance and Accounting – ADSM
To teach one course, Introduction to Finance and Accounting, in the BScM program during the Fall 2026 term.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Introduction to Finance and Accounting, managerial and financial.
- Develop course materials including syllabi, lectures, assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Explain key concepts such as financial statements, budgeting, cost analysis, time value of money, investment decisions, and financial management.
- Guide students in applying financial and accounting principles to business decision‑making.
- Assess student performance fairly and consistently, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain academic integrity and ensure alignment with program learning outcomes and accreditation standards.
- Support student learning through consultation, office hours, or online platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline required.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are an advantage.
- University‑level teaching experience in finance or accounting preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with financial tools and software, e.g., Excel, accounting systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must currently reside in the UAE and hold own valid residency visa.
