The Function Purpose
Achieve the set objectives and handling of the Acquiring E-commerce Specialist Activities assigned.
Main Responsibilities
Perform all efforts needed to introduce E-commerce Acquiring Products and Services to targeted existing and new to bank clients.
Manage E-commerce merchants’ portfolio to reduce zero sales ratio, increase activity and retain clients .
Offer direct E-commerce client support, ensuring all technical requirements are met and any issues are addressed efficiently. ·
Work closely with the compliance team and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to the latest mandates and industry standards.
Stay up to date on solutions delivered by banks in peer group as well as best practices in other banks locally, regionally, and globally in addition to recommending applicable enhancements new services / products required.
Comply with local and scheme regulatory requirements and ensure appropriate governance and good conduct, avoid mispricing, conflict of interest, breach of confidentiality, fraud, and financial crime; as well as focusing on pricing transparency and proper storage of key documentation and adherence to approved processes.
Ensure complying with E-commerce governance framework, and regulatory requirements and arranging for all necessary approvals and licenses such as Central Bank of Jordan, schemes (Visa, Mastercard), etc.
Monitor handling of client complaints and management of eCommerce business related tasks and ensure proper and timely resolution.
Provide technical support to merchants, assisting with API integrations, troubleshooting, and onboarding
Manage payment gateway integrations, system diagnostics, and technical issue resolution for seamless transaction processing.
Offer technical expertise and participate in client meetings.
Monitor E-commerce transactions in terms of Fraud and Chargeback ratios.
