Job summary

Ensure timely collection of payments from clients by managing customer invoicing, tracking outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate records of receivables.

Key Responsibilities

Project Accounting:

  • Monitor and record financial transactions related to specific projects.
  • Ensure that project costs are properly tracked and reported according to budgeted amounts.
  • Work with project managers to track progress, identify cost overruns, and report on financial status.
  • Preparing financial status reports per project contract

Invoicing:

  • Generate and issue invoices to clients promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure invoices reflect the correct terms and conditions.
  • Ensuring invoices are in full compliance with tax rules and regulations
  • Upload the invoices on the Customer websites (such as Etimad, SAP, Oracle, …. Etc.)

Transaction Processing:

  • Record all transactions related to accounts receivable in the accounting system.
  • Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices and tracking outstanding amounts.

Account Reconciliation:

  • Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts.
  • Resolve discrepancies and address any payment issues with clients.

Payment Processing:

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Process incoming payments and ensure accurate posting to customer accounts.

Collection Management:

  • Oversee accounts receivable related to project-based revenues, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from clients.
  • Maintain communication with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment disputes.
  • Prepare ageing reports and assist in implementing strategies for reducing overdue accounts.

General:

  • Performing any tasks assigned by the CFO

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or equivalent.
