About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely supplier payments, and maintaining financial records. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Financial Processing

Process invoices efficiently, ensuring accuracy and necessary approvals before payments.

Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records, ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions.

Verify invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.

Prepare monthly reports and financial analyses related to accounts payable.

Accounting & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and ensure timely reconciliations.

Assist in financial reporting, ensuring up-to-date and well-structured data.

Oversee cash and banking transactions, ensuring compliance with financial standards.

Balance credit card reconciliations and manage financial transactions efficiently.

Financial Standards & Compliance

Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.

Maintain accurate financial documentation for audits and reporting.

Support improvements in financial systems and accounting operations.

What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail with the ability to process financial transactions accurately.

Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial management software.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while ensuring effective collaboration with the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Accounting or a related field.

Experience: Minimum one year in accounting, finance, front office, or reservations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
