Accountant – Real Estate Jobs in Dubai at Rise Up Real Estate LLC
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and Designing:
Prepare detailed and accurate technical drawings for joinery works, including doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and custom furniture.
Create 2D and 3D design models using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
Ensure that designs meet client specifications, building codes, and regulations.
Collaboration with Architects and Engineers:
Work closely with architects, project managers, and engineers to incorporate design requirements into the overall construction project.
Adjust drawings and plans based on feedback from clients or project stakeholders.
Material Selection:
Suggest suitable materials (wood types, finishes, hardware) based on the design specifications and project requirements.
Ensure that materials specified are available and feasible for the project timeline and budget.
Cost Estimation and Project Planning:
Assist in estimating the cost of materials, labor, and time required for joinery fabrication and installation.
Help create timelines for fabrication and installation phases of the joinery works.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Ensure all designs comply with building codes, industry standards, and client specifications.
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision in the finished work.
Communication and Coordination:
Coordinate with production teams to ensure that drawings are translated accurately into physical joinery items.
Address issues that may arise during the fabrication or installation phase by providing updated drawings or solutions.
Project Documentation:
Maintain and update project records, including design drawings, revisions, specifications, and progress reports.
Provide detailed drawings for site installation teams to follow during the construction process.
On-Site Support:
Visit construction sites occasionally to ensure that joinery work aligns with the design plans.
Offer technical support for installation teams, especially for custom joinery work.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
A degree or diploma in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of joinery materials, construction techniques, and furniture design.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Experience:
Previous experience as a draftsman in a construction or joinery company is often required.
Familiarity with the process of turning design ideas into practical joinery solutions.
