Overview:
A ready-mix concrete factory in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, cost control, and reporting. The role requires knowledge of the construction materials industry, specifically ready-mix concrete operations, and compliance with Saudi financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management:
Oversee daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Cost Control & Analysis:
Track production costs, raw material purchases, fuel, maintenance, and operational expenses to ensure profitability.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to guide decision-making.
• Financial Reporting:
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Saudi accounting standards.
• Tax & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with VAT, Zakat, and other regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Inventory & Asset Management:
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and fixed assets, ensuring accurate valuation and control.
• Cash Flow & Banking:
Manage cash flow, banking transactions, and reconciliation of accounts.
• ERP & Software Management:
Utilize accounting and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local industry software) to streamline financial operations.
• Audit & Internal Controls:
Coordinate with external auditors, implement financial controls, and maintain documentation for audit readiness.
Skills
Qualifications &
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a ready-mix concrete, construction materials, or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Saudi GAAP (SOCPA), VAT, and Zakat regulations.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred).
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.
