Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The role includes managing client accounts and overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, tax compliance, and supporting the company’s strategic financial planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and maintain supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity.
- Review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal vouchers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances against actual results.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve financial performance and enhance cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations.
- Prepare and review VAT returns and Corporate Tax computations.
- Oversee banking transactions, payments, and treasury management.
- Prepare monthly financial closing reports and management reports for clients.
- Present and explain financial reports and results to non-finance clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide the required documentation and support during audits.
