Job Responsibilities:
As an Accountant cum Inventory Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
Overseeing the day-to-day inventory operations, including tracking inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing effective
inventory management
strategies.
Collaborating with the sales and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels.
Monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
Supervising a team of inventory and accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting and
inventory management
, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory control practices, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Experience with
Tally ERP is advantageous.
