ob Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant who can also support barista operations when required. The main responsibility of this role is to manage proper accounting, daily financial records, profit and loss tracking, and reporting for the business. The secondary responsibility is to assist with coffee preparation and customer service during busy periods or when needed.
Main Responsibilities – Accounting
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly accounting records.
- Prepare and monitor Profit & Loss reports.
- Record sales, expenses, purchases, supplier invoices, and payments.
- Track cash flow, petty cash, and bank transactions.
- Reconcile daily POS sales, cash, card payments, and online payments.
- Prepare cost reports for products, ingredients, and operational expenses.
- Monitor inventory costs and coordinate with management on stock usage.
- Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, supplier statements, and financial documents.
- Assist in budgeting, expense control, and financial planning.
- Report any discrepancies, unusual expenses, or accounting issues to management.
- Support monthly closing and financial summaries.
Secondary Responsibilities – Barista Support
- Prepare coffee and beverages according to company standards when required.
- Support the barista team during busy hours or staff shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and service area.
- Assist with customer service, order taking, and serving drinks if needed.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous accounting experience is required.
- Good knowledge of Profit & Loss, bookkeeping, expenses, and financial reporting.
- Experience with POS systems, Excel, or accounting software is preferred.
- Basic barista experience or willingness to learn is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, reliable, and organized.
- Ability to work in a small business environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in cafés, restaurants, or retail businesses is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Main role: Accounting and financial control.
- Secondary role: Barista and café support when needed.
- Salary: QAR 3,000 – QAR 4,000 per month.
- Duty hours and benefits to be discussed during the interview.
Pay: QAR3,000.00 – QAR4,000.00 per month
