Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of accounts.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Maintain tax records and assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding financial practices and reporting.
Provide recommendations for improving financial procedures and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a similar industry.
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Tally, or SAP).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in Qatar.
Attention to detailand accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellentcommunicationand organizational skills.
Fluency in English;
Arabic is a plus.
