Position: Require an Accountant
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and monitor cash flow planning and forecasting.
- Prepare, review, and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Assist management in budget preparation, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
- Support sales forecasting and provide financial insights to drive business decisions.
- Perform variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
- Monitor inventory accounting, food cost analysis, and operational expenses.
- Assist in developing financial models and business performance reports.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve financial performance.
- Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.
- Professional qualifications such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Qatar-based candidates are preferred.
Preferred
Competencies:
- Experience in multi-outlet restaurant, café, catering, or hospitality operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and food cost controls.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
