We are looking for a Junior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years UAE experience to assist our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting duties, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
– Reconcile company accounts, including bank and credit card statements
– Prepare and post journal entries
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting
– Perform account analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
– Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry
– Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
