Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced FF&E Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in interior design, design services, architecture, and planning. As an FF&E Designer, you will be responsible for curating, sourcing, and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment for luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, and procurement teams to deliver functional, aesthetically pleasing, and high-end design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Sourcing: Curate, source, and specify furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and decorative accessories aligned with project design concepts.
Design Presentation: Develop and present mood boards, material boards, and FF&E specifications to clients and stakeholders.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to obtain samples, pricing, and lead times.
Project Planning: Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, procurement lists, and cost estimates to ensure budget adherence.
Collaboration: Work closely with design, architectural, and procurement teams to integrate FF&E selections with overall design schemes.
On-site Oversight: Conduct site visits and installations to ensure the successful implementation of FF&E elements.
Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure adherence to sustainability standards, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Market Trends: Stay updated on market trends, materials, and innovations in the FF&E and interior design industry.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in FF&E design, interior design, or architecture.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture suppliers, and procurement processes.
Experience in luxury residential or commercial projects is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED15,000.00 – AED18,000.00 per month
