Accountant Jobs in Dubai at Alka foods
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with experience in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime to join our accounting team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will handle daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and other accounting tasks while ensuring adherence to UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Record daily financial transactions in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
Maintain general ledgers, petty cash, and financial records.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and profit & loss statements.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process supplier invoices, payments, and customer receipts.
Reconcile accounts with vendors and customers to ensure accuracy.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and manage credit control.
3. Taxation & Compliance (As per UAE Laws):
Handle UAE VAT (Value Added Tax) calculations, input/output VAT reconciliation, and VAT return filing.
Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax Laws (if applicable).
Assist in maintaining proper documentation for tax audits.
4. Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting:
Conduct periodic bank reconciliations to match bank statements with accounting records.
Generate financial reports, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
5. Payroll & Employee Accounting:
Assist in processing WPS (Wage Protection System) salary payments.
Calculate end-of-service benefits (Gratuity) as per UAE labor laws.
Maintain employee reimbursement records.
6. Inventory & Fixed Asset Management:
Record and track inventory transactions in Tally.
Maintain a fixed asset register and calculate depreciation as per UAE standards.
7. Other Duties:
Assist in audits and statutory compliance.
Support sales team with basic documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure the accuracy of accounting data.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
