Job Summary:
This role will be looking after the accounts of a company in the Tobacco industry.
Key Performance Areas:
· Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and records by collecting and organizing financial data.
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts as directed
· Manage and maintain the company’s books of accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy
· Prepare MIS reports for analysing of financial performance and trends
· Provide regular updates to the senior accountant on the progress of assigned tasks, including time sheets, billing, and collection activities.
· Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Requirements:
· Must hold an accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CIMA, CMA)
· 5-6 years of experience in accounting
· Strong knowledge of accounting standards
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong sense of confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED14,000.00 – AED19,000.00 per month
