Nanny duties and responsibilities
Provide attentive care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
Create and follow a daily schedule and routine for children
Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and behaviour
Perform light housekeeping duties
Maintain a clean and organised play and living space for children
Nanny requirements and qualifications
Proven experience as a nanny or babysitter
Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date childcare practices
Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations
Physical stamina to keep up with active children
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional training or certification in early childhood education is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references
