Job Title: Experienced Accountant (QuickBooks & UAE VAT Expert)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team and manage our financial operations efficiently. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks, excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, and the ability to independently manage the complete accounting cycle.
The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling daily accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and documentation management.
Must have:
- Strong experience using QuickBooks
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA requirements
- Experience managing complete accounting processes independently
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle complete sales and purchasing cycles, including:
- Sales Invoices
- Purchase Orders (POs)
- Quotations
- Delivery Notes
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
UAE VAT Compliance
- Handle end-to-end UAE VAT processes, including:
- VAT calculations
- VAT return preparation and filing
- Maintaining VAT records and supporting documents
- Ensuring compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
- Manage VAT-related documentation and submissions through the FTA portal.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including:
- Profit & Loss statements
- Balance sheet reports
- Cash flow reports
- Provide accurate financial information to support management decisions.
Inventory & Documentation Management
- Maintain proper accounting records for inventory transactions.
- Ensure all invoices, expenses, purchases, and supporting documents are properly recorded and organized.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, VAT filing procedures, and FTA portal management.
- Experience handling the complete accounting cycle.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
