Accountant Jobs in Dubai at Premier Brains
Premier Brains Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is strong in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE accounting and VAT regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
✔ Maintain and update the general ledger, journal entries, and supporting schedules
✔ Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
✔ Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, intercompany accounts, and other ledgers
✔ Conduct variance analysis and report financial insights to management
Accounts Payable & Receivable
✔ Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments
✔ Monitor accounts receivable, prepare aging reports, and follow up on outstanding dues
✔ Handle supplier and client reconciliations
Month-End & Year-End Closing
✔ Assist in closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, amortizations, and provisions
✔ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
✔ Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
Taxation & Compliance
✔ Prepare, review, and file VAT returns accurately and on time
✔ Maintain proper tax documentation and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations
✔ Support in corporate tax documentation (if applicable)
Internal Controls & Documentation
✔ Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for audit readiness
✔ Implement and follow internal control processes
✔ Assist in developing and improving accounting procedures
Other Responsibilities
✔ Manage petty cash and employee expense reimbursements
✔ Support management with financial analysis and special projects
✔ Liaise with banks, vendors, clients, and internal teams as needed
RequirementsEducation & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting in the UAE
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience in VAT return preparation and compliance
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zohoo,QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, analysis tools)
Soft Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
