Part-Time Accountant

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our growing business in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring our accounts are properly organized and up to date.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts and company records
- Prepare and maintain invoices and supporting documents
- Monitor outstanding customer payments and supplier balances
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and basic management reports
- Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions
- Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation
- Coordinate with management regarding financial information and requirements
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date
- Support general administrative and financial tasks when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role in the UAE
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting is preferred
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices
- Strong Excel / Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in trading, retail, or hospitality is an advantage
Working Schedule
3–4 days per week, with working days and hours to be discussed based on availability and business requirements.
