We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the company.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments when required.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Ensure accounting transactions are properly supported and recorded.
- Assist with VAT/tax-related accounting and reporting requirements, where applicable.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Should be currently located in UAE
