About the Role
Lune Lounge Coffee Shop is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the company’s financial records and ensure accurate accounting practices. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of UAE accounting standards, and the ability to work independently while supporting the business’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
- Record daily sales, expenses, and bank transactions.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Process supplier payments and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare VAT-related records and support VAT filing in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality, café, or restaurant industry.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills in English.
