Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with expertise in Zoho Books to join our business consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, VAT filing, bookkeeping, CT registration and submission, and drafting audit reports. This role requires precision, compliance knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Bookkeeping & Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and manage daily transactions using Zoho Books.
✅ VAT Filing & Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws.
✅ Corporate Tax (CT) Registration & Submission: Handle corporate tax registration, prepare submissions, and ensure timely filing.
✅ Audit Report Drafting: Assist in preparing audit reports and liaising with external auditors as required.
✅ Financial Analysis & Advisory: Provide financial insights and support business decisions based on data.
✅ Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on UAE tax regulations, corporate tax laws, and financial policies.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax (CT) regulations, and financial reporting.
Experience in audit report drafting and liaising with auditors.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
