GTHE is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be CA qualified with solid experience in the heavy equipment or machinery industry and a strong understanding of financial processes, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledger, and reconciliations.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
Handle VAT submissions and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
Work closely with internal departments to support business operations.
Requirements:
CA-qualified (essential)
5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the heavy equipment or automotive sector.
Strong knowledge of VAT, IFRS, and financial regulations in the UAE.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
