Success International School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic Supervisor to join our leadership team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Academic Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing teaching and learning standards, supporting and supervising academic staff, monitoring curriculum implementation, analyzing student performance, and contributing to continuous school improvement.
The successful candidate should have strong academic leadership experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proven experience working in an international or bilingual school environment in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and support teaching staff to ensure high academic and professional standards.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure effective delivery of academic programs.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Review lesson plans and support teachers in instructional planning and classroom management.
- Monitor teacher performance and contribute to staff evaluations and professional development.
- Coordinate assessments, examinations, academic schedules, and student progress monitoring.
- Analyze student achievement and assessment data to identify learning gaps and areas for improvement.
- Work with teachers to develop and monitor academic intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and documentation.
- Organize and facilitate teacher training, professional development, and academic workshops.
- Work closely with school leadership to develop and implement academic policies and improvement initiatives.
- Support quality assurance and ensure academic practices align with relevant curriculum, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote student-centered learning, academic excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate with students and parents regarding academic matters when required.
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and positive learning environment.
- Perform other academic and supervisory responsibilities assigned by school leadership.
